Moon Over Chang’an is our interpretation of a gentle Chinese incense for the end of the day — inspired by the image of Chang’an under moonlight, when the room grows quiet, tea turns warm, and the air begins to slow down.

The blend opens with dewy lotus and wild patchouli, giving the first impression a clean herbal brightness. It then softens into snow pear, shihu, and cedarwood, bringing a pale sweetness and a calm woody body. As the incense settles, aged agarwood and Mysore sandalwood form a warm, grounded base that lingers quietly without becoming heavy.

What we like about this incense is its restraint. It does not feel sharp, smoky, or overly ceremonial. Instead, it sits close to daily life — suitable for evening reading, quiet tea, meditation, or a slow moment before sleep.
